Homebuyer Survey & Valuation

The Homebuyer Survey & Valuation is prepared by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and is designed to provide a prospective purchaser with basic information in a standardised format.  The report will include details of the general condition and form of construction, any significant factors which might influence or affect value, provide you with a Market Valuation and a Valuation for insurance purposes.

The inspection is limited to those parts of the building that can be reached safely and easily although does not include an examination of inaccessible parts of the building or any testing of services. Key defects will be identified although it is important to appreciate that the surveyor is not required to advise on repair or to comment on any fault in detail. The report is designed for most residential dwellings but it not suitable for those which have been converted, extended, altered, or are listed buildings or buildings of special interest.

We can also provide condition reports on property that include a photographic record of the condition of the property at the time of inspection.
